Healthy Back

Healthy Back is an online, evidence-informed program designed for individuals with mild to moderate back pain or those looking to prevent future back pain.
The course will teach participants how to move safely and confidently in their day-to-day lives, and help them build sustainable movement habits to support long-term back health over six weeks. Participants will learn how to build safe movements habits, including how to safely lift loads, improve their posture and ergonomic environment, and develop a regular routine to strengthen their back and core.

By the end of this course you'll:

Know the basic anatomy of the back and spine.
Know how to improve lower back, shoulder and core function through targeted strength and mobility exercises.

Improved your overall quality of life by maintaining a healthy, active routine.

Discover the importance of regular stretching and how it can improve back pain, as well as learn movements to help increase your back and shoulder mobility.

Learn how to start strength training to improve your back pain and prevent future injuries.

[HB] Week 5: Ergonomics & Safe Progression in Strength Training

Discover how to set up an ergonomic environment, and how to safely progress your strength training routine to meet your unique fitness and pain levels.
